Two weekends ago, while visiting NYC with Dylan, I spent the majority of my Saturday shooting portraits for my new friend Shai, and his adorable pup, Nikka. The afternoon began with an Israeli feast prepared by Shai in his Brooklyn apartment. It was so hard to stop eating! We then headed out to Prospect Park and spent the next four hours shooting around. And here are the results!

I’ve known this gorgeous family for 17 years. Woah! That makes me feel old.. In such time, both Erin and Emily have gotten married, Erin has a little one, and Em has a precious little boy on the way! Hannah and I have been kindred spirits since the day we met, and Abbey has grown into the most beautiful young woman. And Meg? She’s just about the most spunky, sweet, stubborn, but absolutely darling little girl you’re likely to meet. I just loved shooting some updated family photos of these sisters (and daughter)!
