I'm just a young and in love wife, sister, daughter, and friend - who happens to be a photographer. My passion hinges on warm, soft light, shallow depth of field, and freezing beautifully fleeting moments in time with my camera. Not to mention, my Savior Jesus Christ, being organized, sushi with extra-extra ginger, making music with my guitar, anything and everything vintage, and Dylan-smell.

Houston State of Mind

This is a quick update to all you blog readers who encouraged me that I surely would not die on my first flight! (You were right!!) I have made it to Houston, and am ready to explore! Highlights thus far: Meeting my new friend Erin (we talked for 3 hours on the plane), devouring my fettucini bay scallops, shrimp, and garlic alfredo sauce dinner at McCormick & Schmicks last night, and NOT seeing any hotel cockroaches yet. (I’ll keep you updated on that last one..) Alright, I’m off to meet Dylan for lunch and see where he works every day! This. is. SO. weird. But the good kind of weird. :)
