Hotel ZaZa Wedding: Kristen & Rob

Last Friday I had the honor of capturing a day that had been a long time in the making. A day complete with 90 of the closest family and friends you could ask for. A dress your mother wore. And a groom whose smile becomes ten times brighter with one simple glance. Of you. Such was Kristen and Rob’s big day… A day Kristen and I had giddily emailed and chit-chatted about for so long. A day that was worth all the stresses of planning it. (Can I get an amen from the bride?) And a day that was worth, well, everything… K & R – Thank you so much for the love and trust you so lavished on me leading up to, and during your wedding day. I hope you’re living it up on your honeymoon, and I hope you both enjoy this fun sneak peak. :)

Couldn’t get enough of Kristen’s Badgley Mischka heels!undefinedKristin Daniell did an incredible job with makeup for all the ladies.undefinedundefinedLove this shot so encompassing of the hustle and bustle and excitement of wedding day prep!undefinedKristen had her mother’s dress altered just a bit, and it was beyond stunning.undefinedRob before and during the first look. :)undefinedLove their reactions. :)undefinedOnto some portraits. This girl? Killed it!undefinedundefinedThe grounds surrounding Hotel ZaZa had me very necessarily giddy. Proof:undefinedundefinedGenuine Kristen and Rob.undefinedK – You’re exquisite. Which is fancy for b-e-a-utiful. :)undefinedundefinedFavorite diptych ever. And you can totally see all of the gorgeous detail in her dress.undefinedundefinedPracticing a little dancing before the ceremony. :)undefinedThe Déjà Vu room at Hotel ZaZa provided for such a sweet and intimate ceremony.undefinedundefinedThe “BAM, we’re married” shot. I loved how Kristen and Rob decided to walk back down the aisle with their two boys, Maddox and Maverick. :)undefinedBecause Kristen and I worked closely to come up with a solid timeline that included a first look and portraits prior to the ceremony, the two were able to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests, leading into their reception! Here are a few glimpses into the details.

Happy Friday all! And remember, it’s April Fools’ Day. Don’t be a victim. :)
