Ashton Gardens Wedding: Anna & Ben

There are certain people you adore instantly without even trying. Anna and Ben are the kind of people who make you feel like family… On Sunday, October 28th, they became each other’s family – promising to love. Always. And we didn’t have to speak Chinese to understand the joy of the 100 friends and family members present that day. It was written on everyone’s face.. Having the opportunity to document such a beautiful day, steeped in so much tradition and love? It’s not something I take for granted. So, A&B – THANK YOU. For being so wonderful. For trusting me. And for your new friendship. Wishing you all the best for round two in China!! :) XOXO!!

Anna’s White by Vera Wang gown had me at hello. All of those flowery appliques! Couple that with Badgley Mischka pumps and hair/makeup by Reneé Lee, and you have one incredibly beautiful bride ready to say “I do!”

A&B decided to have a first look! Beyond lending to the absolutely sweet moment captured below, their first look also ensured we could take ALL portraits prior to the ceremony, which made the day run smooth as buttah.

I adore the way Anna lights up around her man…

And here’s Ben, pulling the fierce card. :)

I’ve been at a loss regarding which image I like more… The one above or below? That LIIIGHT.

Sweetest bridal party ever! And down-right fashionable.

Hugs were exchanged and toasts were made as Anna prepared to walk down the aisle… Sarah’s shot!

At this moment, B’s best man was encouraging him to continue with his vows despite getting choked up. :)

You guys DID IT!!

Many thanks to Dream Bouquet and Ashton Gardens for turning A&B’s reception vision into a pretty reality.

More thanks to Divisi Strings, who played most beautifully for the ceremony AND the first dance!

After a traditional tea ceremony and some wine, Ben surprised his new bride with a picture slideshow interspersed with the most eloquent sentiments of affection. I think this following picture sums up that moment quite well. :)

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Xu!! :)
