As Dylan and I made the 3 hr. treck back to Syracuse from Albany, a little piece of me just couldn’t stop smiling. Once again, I have been completely overwhelmed by the love and support of my clients. When we were leaving this shoot, Lindsay said, “I think I want your job!! It seems SO fun!” She hit the nail on the head.

Lindsay and Chad are returning clients who have a family I’ve absolutely fallen in love with. And their baby boy turning 6 months old meant I got to hang out with them once again! We started out at The Crossings in Colonie, and wrapped up shooting at their sweet home, just in time to devour Lindsay’s gourmet (yes, gourmet!) barbecue chicken and onion pizza with apple/strawberry/feta salad and mango dressing. YUM.

So without further ado…

My new friend Stephanie has the sweetest heart. The kind like those in Liberty Mutual commercials, which never cease to floor me. Stephanie contacted me back in December, wanting to schedule a surprise session for another family with a new baby. We set a date, and Steph chose to pay in installments. But she didn’t just pay in checks and bills. She paid in letters. Typed letters with penned signatures. Genuine, encouraging snail mail that made my day on multiple occasions. She thanked me in advance for helping her gift this shoot to her dear friends.. But the thanks belonged to her. It wasn’t a holiday. It wasn’t anyone in the family’s birthday. It wasn’t for any special reason other than wanting to bless her friends. So thank YOU, Stephanie. For having such a selfless and transparent heart.

Introducing! DareRick, Amanda and baby Blake, a family SO full of affection for each other, which makes my job PIE. I was so grateful to be included in this gift-giving and on the sidelines as we had fun in the park!! Is he not PERFECT?!

He’s SUCH a happy boy. :)

I feel an addiction to adorable stuffed animals coming on. Someday, when we have kids.. (Kinda want this tiger now, though.) :)
