Houston Country Club Wedding: Catherine & Michael

After a brief hiatus from weddings this summer, we got back to it with the most phenomenal day ever! Catherine and Michael – more affectionately, Cat and Mike – exchanged vows in front of 200 loved ones just a couple Saturdays back… Having met at Rice University back in 2007, the two followed each other to Paris for work… Talk about romantic! The elegance of their Houston Country Club wedding absolutely screamed Parisian fabulousness :) Both Dylan and I were happy to be a part of capturing it all! Such a great team of vendors too!

C&M – Thank you for your trust and smiling faces! We hope you enjoy these snapshots from your wedding day. We enjoyed taking them! Bisous bisous!! (The extent of my French speaking abilities…) ;) XOXO!!

Loved Catherine’s gorgeous dress by Judd Waddell and – of COURSE – those Jimmy Choo’sThe bride’s family’s house was a dream to shoot final-prep in! Thanks also to Kristin Daniel for hair and makeup.A few formal portraits before we headed over to the church…Back at St. Luke’s UMC, Mike was waiting to see his to-be-wife for their first look and gift exchange!Although it had been pouring cats and dogs for a while before this, the skies cleared JUST in time…I can’t put my finger on why I like this shot so much! But then there’s this one :)Finishing up wedding party portraits. I don’t shoot images like this regularly, but sometimes it just calls for it :)Tying the knot. Thanks to Sydney and Jessica from Keely Thorne Events for making sure the day ran smoothly!LOOK at those pretty faces!! I die from all the happiness…We were FLOORED by the reception decor!!Floral perfection by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. And cakes by Marlene Romero.Y’all are too perfect for one another… Love this first-dance shot!Toasts, cake, and the most AMAZING (French) croquembouche. Essentially hundreds of caramel-coated cream puffs piled on top of each other. Wrapped in spun caramel threads. Seriously?!And they were OFF. Happy as can be :) Just the way I like it!Congratulations, you two!! Now leave them love…

    Lisa - Hello,
Gorgeous pictures. Can you please tell me who made the Croquembouche?

Alyse - I’m assuming, but I think it might have been the same cake baker as listed above!
